We are searching for Personal Care Aids who are committed to providing compassionate and caring assistance to our clients in the safety and comfort of their own homes.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting our clients with ADL’s, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assisting our clients with IADL’s, such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and errands.
- Helping clients with mobility efforts, including transferring.
- Offer companionship and socializing
- Responsible, dependable and timely.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma and equivalent
- PCA/HHA Certification or active CNA Certification
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a personal care aide
- Outstanding relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to manage to demands of the job with integrity, empathy and compassion
